K9 Summit: Who We Are

Today, January 1st, 2023 marks our one year anniversary! K9 Summit officially launched in January 2022 with the mission of helping owners give their dogs a chance to reach their full potential. We are an all-girl team based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving the surrounding areas. We specialize in balanced training for everything from basic obedience to service dogs to search and rescue—and everything in between. Our team has six remarkable young women with diverse backgrounds. Many of our trainers have been clients themselves; some even had careers in completely different fields before starting their dog training journey, but we all have the same goal of helping clients build a better relationship with their dogs.

What makes K9 Summit unique is the team’s undeniable passion for this industry, the friendships we have with one another, the desire to educate, and our commitment to helping each dog and client. We understand that each dog and its family is different, so we can treat all our clients individually and find what works best for them. Our trainers have worked hard and studied rigorously to receive their formal education in this field and continue striving to learn more.

The best part about being an all-girl team is that we’re able to break industry standards and make dog training less intimidating for our clients. There’s so much controversy in the field—with loads of misinformation and contradicting opinions—but with our education and experience, we enlighten our clients on proper training methods and the correct use of tools. We make training simple, effective, and fun!

Since our start in January 2022, we have helped hundreds of families and their dogs build a better foundation, strengthen their relationships, and teach them life-long skills. We have helped our clients achieve everything from basic household obedience, off-leash freedom, service dog tasks that save lives, rehabilitation of aggressive dogs, and so much more. We are so proud of everything we have accomplished with our clients in the first year, and we can’t wait to see what else we’ll be able to do. This is just the beginning!
